Fido offers flexible and convenient repayment options to help you stay on top of your credit repayments.
Repayments can either be collected automatically from your verified bank account or made manually by you through the Fido App.
Automatic Repayments with DebiCheck
When you accept your first credit, you'll be asked to authorise a DebiCheck mandate through your banking app.
Once authorised, Fido can automatically collect your repayment from your verified bank account on the agreed due date.
To ensure your repayment is successful, please make sure you have sufficient funds available in your account before the due date.
Making a Manual Repayment
You can initiate payment of your outstanding credit balance from either the Home Page or Credit Page of the Fido App as below:
- Make sure you have enough money in your account.
- Select ‘Pay back’ from either the Home Page or Credit Page of the Fido App
- Choose how much you want to repay.
- Full Payment: Select this to pay off your entire credit balance. This option allows you to pay off your entire credit balance, including all installments that are not yet due for payment. Use this to pay off your credit earlier than scheduled.
- Partial amount: Select this option to enter any amount you want to pay.
- Next Payment: This is available only for credit limits where the user opted for installment payment options. Select this when repaying only your next credit installment.
- Next, review the repayment details and tap Pay with PayShap. Your payment is processed safely on the app and your account updates automatically when the process is complete.
- Be on the lookout for the notification confirming successful payment. A confirmation screen will be shown to you to confirm whether the payment was successful or not.
Important to Know
- Always ensure sufficient funds are available in your bank account before your repayment date.
- Automatic repayments are collected through your approved DebiCheck mandate.
- Manual repayments can be made at any time through the Fido App.
- Early repayment is allowed and can be completed by selecting the Full Payment option.
- Once a repayment is successful, you'll receive a confirmation notification in the app.
